5 Celebrity Mum Smoothies + bonus Fertility Smoothie.
As the summer days heat up, our digestion naturally begins to slow. We start gravitating towards lighter, crisper and fresher foods in order to keep our bodies cool and maintain slow-burning energy levels.
This makes summer the best time to break out the blender and try new, seasonal smoothie recipes. Here are a few smoothies that some of our favourite celebrity mamas incorporate into their day to day lives.
Gwenyth Paltrow Brain-Boosting Breakfast smoothie:
This is one of Gwenyth's favourite go-to morning smoothies for a busy, working day. It contains Mushroom Powder for glowy skin, Maca Powder for supporting energy levels, Ashwagandha for managing stress and anxiety, He Shou Wu for tonifying kidneys and liver functions and Cordyceps for boosting the immune system.

1 cup almond milk
1 tablespoon almond butter
1 teaspoon coconut oil
2 tablespoons vanilla mushroom protein powder
1 teaspoon maca powder
1 teaspoon ashwagandha
1 teaspoon he shou wu
1 teaspoon cordyceps
pinch of Himalayan sea salt
pinch of vanilla powder (optional)
JLO's Energizing Spinach and Protein smoothie:
Lacking energy? Take a (spinach) leaf out of Jennifer Lopez's book and try out her go-to spinach and protein smoothie, full of fibre, omega 3 and protein. The secret in this smoothie to retaining consistent energy is sunflower butter. It's a great source of protein, healthy fats, vitamin E and magnesium.  If there's one celebrity mama who radiates energy, it's JLo!
1 handful spinach
1 frozen banana

1 cup rice milk
2 scoops almond butter or sunflower butter
1 scoop protein powder
Meghan Markle Berry Breakfast smoothie:
The Duchess of Sussex opts for a well-balanced combination of delicious fruit and protein in her breakfast smoothie. She uses clean protein powder for sustained energy, chia seeds for extra protein, fibre and omega-3s, blueberries for antioxidants, cinnamon to aid inflammation and coconut water for extra hydration. We sure love the sound of a smoothie fit for royalty!

1/2 cup blueberries
1 scoop vanilla protein powder
1 tbs cinnamon
1/2 cup almond milk
1/2 cup coconut water
2 tbs chia seeds

Kourtney Kardashian Mum + Kid-Friendly smoothie:
If you're looking for a nutrient-packed smoothie that both you and your kids can enjoy together for breakfast (or on-the-go) then Kourtney's Kid-Friendly smoothie just might be your answer! It’s a great way to add daily probiotic powder and vitamin supplements in a fresh and easy to make.

Jessica Alba Clear Skin smoothie:
It sometimes feels like a life long struggle to maintain healthy-looking skin - even celebrity mama Jessica Alba claims to battle congested skin from time to time. Her secret? A smoothie packed full of skin-boosting properties such as avocado for moisturise skin, cucumber for reducing inflammation and irritation and mint for brightening the complexion.
