I’m so excited to show you our gorgeous little Alessia's nursery. Alessia was born into our world on the 24th January at 2.20 am weighing 2.99kg. We knew that we were having a baby girl early on, so I had plenty of time to gather ideas and inspiration for her nursery. I wanted the nursery to be feminine, but also ensure it had a sophisticated, luxe feel.

After stalking many photos on Pinterest, I fell in love with the combination of blush pink and green, and decided to add in touches of black, white and gold for a sophisticated element. I wanted to keep the nursery furniture white as it’s modern, fresh and easy to pair back with different styles and themes. I incorporated the pop colours of blush pink and green into the soft furnishings and artwork, and then added some accents around the room of black and gold. One of the highlights of the nursery for me has to be the painting which was a custom made piece by my wonderful mother. Not only does it tie the whole room together, but it's such a special and sentimental piece that we'll be able to treasure.

I couldn’t be happier with how Alessia's nursery turned out, and for those mamas-to-be out there, hopefully this provides a little bit of inspiration for you too!

Hi Melissa!

Thank-you so much!

Love the chair! Super comfy to feed in, just pop a pillow behind your lower back, but really loving the chair and how comfy it is, would definitely recommend! Xo

Congratulations on your baby girl! What a lovely room. I’m keen to know how you’re finding the chair as I’m looking for one I can breastfeed my 5 week old baby boy in. Do you feed in it? Is it comfy? Thanks! xx
